This painting is part of my newest series of abstract alcohol inks inspired by the landscape of Northern New Mexico. Arroyo Seco is a mountain town overlooking Taos valley. On an August evening, the sun sets monsoon thunderheads aflame as the rains break over the high desert. Framed in natural, blonde wood, this alcohol ink painting features Copic inks and metallic accents on Yupo fine art paper. It is matted to 11 x 14.
